...recieved a text a couple days ago from my friend SWS about the
NYC winter jam festival tomorrow in central park...its a day for people to go to the park and demo xc skiis, snowshoeing and snowboarding... they have a rail demo set-up, and they have been blowing snow all week. I'm gonna try and go and bring a bunch of snowskates so people can demo them... I emailed the director but never heard back,(big shock) so what the heck I'll go and try to weasel my way in, manhattan is only a couple of hours away...
manhattan is on the crux of a storm saturday, it should pick up about 5" of natural snow, with the potential of recieving a foot and a half if the storm jogs only 70 miles further north then expected... gonna try and make it, email If you like to meet for a demo...decembersnowskates@gmail.com
