After a year in the prototyping and testing phase, we are ready to run a batch of board sox to keep your skates protected and your cars dry! Drawstring closure with cord lock will fit any brand snowskates. Fleece clings to the top deck while the cordura protects the sub. Smooth... form fitting... and just in time for Xmas

Kronicle issue #1 (part 1)

Kronicle (snowboarding's very first backcountry mag.) set the stage right by having a powsurf article, featuring binding free pow surfer ambassador Jeremy Jensen in their premier issue. Cool mag.

"the candle has been lit"

ok, its time to start talking turkey (meaning snowskating) no more messing around, Winter is here, so here it is:

Bryce, TJ, and Todd from Boydhill Snowskates are kicking off the season with the release of two mini shorts. Last winter they were busy filming with Andrew Shirokman and the Gearbox Film crew, to shed some light on their production methods and a look at their local terrain. Both crews did a top notch job capturing the vibe of snowskating digitally.

The first clip is a shop tour. ...Even tho Bryce is sketched out on his cameo, I'm posting it anyway. Its good stuff.

The second one is classic. A bunch of gnarly North Idaho Mountain Men having a laugh sliding around in onesies, while integrating the roots of sideways snow riding with contemporary snowskating...
ya gotta smile watching this one

pretty amazing job by GBF and the Wookie Crew

email these guys if you need a skate

sidenote(any red topdeck you see in the short is a december)

Opening powder surf day was 10/29

Back on 10/29 the snow piled up enough to swap out a bi-deck for a powder plank... Unfortunately as the powder piled up the sun was dropping, and a 'sick' line never materialized. But it was fun to link a few turns
This one is made 4' x 12" out of 7 plys of maple.. Front foot wedge and a kicktail.. Thanks surfer Steve for modeling with it.

Plenty of swell filling in this week, Friday am should be the call.
