So here's a few more shots of that beautiful alaia. Even though the original winterstick factory has been closed for years, Jeff said, he still meets up with founder/snowboard creator Demitrije Milovich for surf trips to Mexico. Classic. I rode this alaia once at a rocky cove with no leash, talk about stressful! ...it's a piece of art. For any New Yorkers out there, be proud, demitrije milovich grew up in NY (and so did Burton).
