Weird File : boot scraper

Two seasons ago our buddy Rich asked for some type of 'on-board' boot scraper...something to get that last layer of icey film off his sneaker soles. This past season I've been r&d'ing a synthetic rubber model (pictured) Works just right, can't tell if it's to dorky tho? (i.e. goon cord). Anyone else want to r&d one?
