i surfed just plain old good beachbreak tonight, (top notch stuff)earlier today my old lady was on the road and sent me this below average pic of a very nice pointbreak...funny when non-surfers take the "shot", they don't wait for sets, or pitching lips, or big long swell lines to march in, they just point their cameras out to sea and click, usually during a lull, its almost useless looking at their pictures to gauge a run to the beach. This pic revealed one little nugget, a tiny amount of white water in the right spot...I knew it was gonna be fun tonight...i got lucky

ReplyDeleteTell the guvner she did good with that, there's a hint of whitewater showing on the lump in the middle of the bay that makes me imagine it a-framing nicely. If there's a place for a decent beer and fish dinner nearby you're set.
ReplyDeleteshe's a real sport...she puts up with alot of boring surf and snow talk...Kirk- you are correct,it is a very decent wave,however the fish and beer are much more consistent...
ReplyDeletefunny, if anyone's scared of night swimming, or maybe hear alot of dum,dum...dum,dum...when your alone surfing, it all started somewhere out in front of that cove
