Jim from Predog sent in these super chill photos of his new set-up, his email was short and sweet, it went as follows:
"December meets PREDOG meets Summit 125
Pretty freaking sick rig! Cannot wait till next weekend. Tahoe is supposed to get about 3 feet by next Sat!!!"
best of luck with that set-up Jim, really great snaps....predog truck looks so clean and high quality...(want one)
dam, that guy knows what the hell he's doing. you should try to set up a joint set-up with him.

Really interesting style unified truck setup. I'm sure everyone here would love to know whatsup with the Predog trucks! Seems like a pretty solid design though I wonder about the distribution of pressure and the "pop" they might add to a given board. Also what size holes he drilled in the board...this may be important for people looking to change over from other truck setups. Really like his clean Black and Tan deck!
ReplyDeleteHey all, really appreciate the feedback keep it coming. Unfortunately PREDOG does not have a site yet, but I do have the domain name. Site will be comming soon, so stay tuned.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the comment from NickOlas; not sure what you mean by distribution of pressure. But, the concept is to create a stable platform front to back while allowing the ski to continue to flex as well as add additional POP!
There are three main advantages to this truck system:
1) connects to any skate deck / snowskate deck, has 1 5/8 hole pattern
2) connects to any skiboard/snowblade with a 4 hole center pattern (note the summit 125 I had to drill holes cuz they don't come with predrilled mounts.GRRR)
3) The wires or springs adjust to different widths to accomodate a number of sub lengths.
hope to see more december, predog rides in the future... thanks for checking in....kev
