Rewind to the future

Lately we had a good amount of snow around town.... And I'm fixated on dropping off structures into snow packed gullies.. I have a low percentage of success, but this is reason enough not to buckle up, after the drop the trail wines for awhile... A real fun way to start a powder line

... If you get into powder 'single' snowskating, try a board with concave on the deck...after three years of building all different kinds, the only thing I've noticed other then you need lots of powder, is the grip of concaves on your toe edge really locks you in!!! Great day ... Very fun stuff

Plenty of snow for a quiver today... All boards went extremely well... Boyd hill sub went incredible when the trail was broken up, tons of runs today... Nice day off in woods... Hiking and snowskating beats everything.... Nothing is sacred or out of bounds

Late last night, There it was

...way in back of tree, one last gift! It was the gift of a completely changed weather forecast... Santa did come through! The forecast went from non-event to full on snow maker, with 8" tonight and over 20" plus by daybreak in our backyards ....tested the powdersurfboard tonight, the wide nose floated so well! Skateboard tail kick, powder nose

Made a powderboard last year for kriss that had a round nose and rounded squash tail, 10-11 version is same length, but with healthy kick in the tail... Would go nicely in the sierras this week!!
