we get some monster floods in the local bays at times ...a few years ago this bulkhead / dock ripped off it's original position and floated about a hundred yards into the marsh...this past fall I have been dying to make a
finless surf board with the bottom shaped like a
boston whalers' hull... I knew this old dock had some super thick blue foam between the joists..it would be plenty thick to
sculpt a boat hull into it....today I walked back there to claim some foam...the real clean piece i snapped trying to pull it out to fast, but the other piece, a real nasty one, came out in one piece, its over 20 inches wide 8 inches thick, and 6 feet long...perfect, it'll probably never come to fruition but I'm gonna try....

the inspector

it was dark when i finally freed the damn piece... (some how it's bolted a 2x6, i had to chip away with
sheetrock hammer/
hachet don't ask why I had that in my hand)
