(funny, I never seem to have an intelligent answer). Enjoy the clip again, it's the best, and I'm sure it's inspired a ton of shapers to lighten up alittle on channels, fin placements,rocker, and rail designs. It's enabled me to try and blend pow surfer board designs with ocean surfboards.

Since 2009 I have been tinkering with idea of surfing snow and water with the same board. Not very ground breaking but a fun concept.. So far my favorite idea (and the cheapest) is just a veneer of wood laminated on both sides of a blank piece of 2" thick insulation foam. Board works well finless but this summer we're adding fins and sealing the rails.. Here's a video Jeremy shot last fall of one of these finless models, on a rather weak surf day..
