Finless Foam and Wood

Since 2009 I have been tinkering with idea of surfing snow and water with the same board. Not very ground breaking but a fun concept.. So far my favorite idea (and the cheapest) is just a veneer of wood laminated on both sides of a blank piece of 2" thick insulation foam. Board works well finless but this summer we're adding fins and sealing the rails.. Here's a video Jeremy shot last fall of one of these finless models, on a rather weak surf day..
