to be ridden on snow or as a skateboard... I made one last year and it
went well both as a skate deck and a snowskate.... This board was
designed by Nick C. A San Diego surfer/ snowskater who lives in the
Swiss alps....
... It has a late eighties early nineties shape, with plenty kick in
the nose to ride clear of any crud, and floating some powder.... At
35 1/2" long I believe this will ride real well in a resort halfpipe,
( the edges are as sharp as knives) bindings free... Nick's gonna give
me early feedback this upcoming season and give it a thumbs up or down
as a actual skate model for the 2010-11 season ...
35 1/2" x 9 1/2" with sidecut, slight camber, 6 plus plys of maple,
and 3 channels laminated to a piece of waxable gallium 4000 sintered
base (ptex)
This thing will absolute fly in the snow, looking foward to hearing
how it rides in the street ... Thanks Nick
The deck looks sick! Can't wait to try it out. I have a skate with me so I will be able to try it out for a day in Munich before I head to Shanghai.
ReplyDeleteI'll do some mountain riding with it and some park riding when I return to Switzerland the end of July. Cheers!
thanks, NC... amped to hear how it rides for you.
