Tuesday's night storm
Was pretty tracked up by the time we arrived wens night. But Aaron gave the report that the top of lifts received 2+ feet of fresh snow, by Thursday morning it was beautiful but super dense heavy snow. Not knowing what to expect in the bone dry parking lot, a Powdersurfboard and a bi-deck we're buckled in for the hike up (the resort has closed for season) ....half way up the snow was getting deep, so the 109cm bi-deck was ditched on the trail like an old bike, and the surfer was going to make the descent. The last third was super deep and dense, not exactly dry powder, looking around and finding the line to drop in from was so much like surfing I might as well been lying down on my stomach.. The board eased into speed and hovered on top of the thick snow and dipped down on command, the turns came without thought, and not another rider around until the parking lot..

(ever catch a big old wave at a foriegn break just a hair earlier then normal, and feeling so locked in, you go from scared to Laird? Powder surfing is like that)

the hunt for A-frames
Early in the week it got cold, but there were a few peaks coming thru.. Always better when u can park in front of the peak when it's cold

8am today
Fairly clean funky A-frames this morning. The kind of morning when the black suit absorbed maybe to much sunlight.
