more Beautiful Maple has arrived..boards are coming soon..
.....our marketing director asked us not to take pre-orders at this time (until a real picture is available), but if your itching for a true custom, i.e. less tail kick, more tail kick, slight concave, color laminate pattern, width, length, and shape,etc..... well then you could get in contact with us now. We would love to listen to your shape and design ideas. Email us or leave us a comment and who knows maybe your design will arrive in the first batch.
cheers
last thing, our singles (version) snowskates are going to be skinned on the bottom with 4000 Grade Racing/High Performance sintered base with Gallium. This is the same stuff that top snowboards and subs are made from. bottom line : quality of ride and SPEED

snowskate update
...just wanted to briefly report on where our product stands at the moment. I first tried snowskating, well at least the feeling back in 1977 at my uncle place at Mt. Snow. My cousins and I would smuggle out lunch tray's from the cafeteria, and ride them down the massive snowbanks in front of the lodge. We went from sitting to eventually standing. This was the first time I had experienced that thrilling "slide ass" but semi-in control feeling. A feeling so strong, that I have tried to duplicate over and over ever since. In the past Surfing always represent the this "feeling" to me the greatest. Nothing beats the feeling of sliding and re-connecting while generating more speed then surfing, but today my focus has been snowskating, there is such level of style, freedom and reckless control that I put everything I've learned and absorbed through board sports and the countless hours studying in the classroom about design, strength of materials, and construction,in addition to the years of field/industry work into a product that we at december, believe will be the standard. (fingers crossed) Our design is simple yet uniquely different then the current models being offered today. The testing for one model is complete. We are waiting for more supplies, and we should see a model offered to the public in a few weeks time. Please continue to check in. Our snowskates should become a part of your quiver... Best of luck...

Trying to catch up on POSTS
...we would really like to show our product. However we don't want to come out of the blue, so until our officical website is set-up all inquiries will go through this blog. We want to go public soon, so at the very least this blog will answer some questions. Feel free to email us with any questions.

my homemade winterstick
Located old X-C Prototype and took some new pics of it..
Two reasons why we got into strapless boarding/snowskating so many moons ago.
Reason 1. to improve surf style. smooth surfing style translate so well. Riding with no straps improves balance and smooths out your style
Reason 2. To make fast winter descents from off piste peakingbagging trips.
Buckling and unbuckling, just takes the joy out of it. (....and randonee skiing doesnt feel like boarding ...motivation for the early prototype)
My experiences have told me that a bideck boards give the most quality experience when riding strapless....but a streetstyle board set-up as a solo can be IMPROVED UPON. Single deck boards have a simple design that can be highly functional, and progressive...our TAKE of this model will be released very shortly...
snow fell...surf or R&D? no question
Woke up to a slight dusting the other day. Was going to test a new prototype but the surf was much better then the snow conditions.....there was just enough snow to freeze the booties, decks, gloves, and surfboard to the bed of my truck. It was beautiful out and the snow cover just made it more country. Nothing better then light winds and glassy beachbreak....
our "backyards
I will post a picture of a replica of our scored model, and give a solution to the problem for anyone whos interested in trying... coming soon
..in the beginning
I recieved a Burton product list in junior high back in 1984. It was the first time I got a good look at a snowboard, outside of a snurfer.( which we loved falling off of growing up in the northeast) To make a long story short my brother and I believd we could make our own burton backyards out of plywood and begin "boarding". Our father suggested to cut the shape out and to score the tip with kerf cuts to add the curve of the "ski" nose.... Well it went according to plan and the nose flexed properly in the garage by pulling back gently on the rope that was attached to it. My father was a genuis...
We head out to our neighbor's 'front yard' and began our test piloting... Within seconds the boards took off down the hill, the feel was amazing like a magic carpet as it flexed over the new snow compared to the stiff snurfers we were used to. But to remain balanced we pulled hard on the rope. Almost simutanously we both snapped our nosees off and tumbled down the hill laughing like crazy. Yeah my father isn't exactly a genius. Many moons passed and we went through many named brand snowboards and even a few burton's.But we have come back full circle to create what we need, so after many sleeplessness nights of dreaming about board designs and conditions, I believe we are ready to move out of r&D and into Production.....
