Test day 19

Since November this board has been ridden in frost, slush, groomers, fresh powder, knee deep powder and other various crappy conditions, with success. It's a big singledeck snowskate that is ready for the mountains.  The grab rails act as fins that also level the board, so deck has true skateboard concave, with just enough ptex to make it real slippery until gravity takes over...for backyard rails, to BC powder.(with an entry-level price tag.) fun stuff

Two Creative Skaters

Danny makes Ralston Snowskates, Jason makes videos and shoots photos under his Rose Street Studios label... Jason shot one heck of a profile video about Danny's growing snowskate biz..included in the footage is some serious 'next level' snowskating action. Very inspiring from both sides of the lens. Coincidentally, Danny and Jason were interesting in trying a custom directional, stoked to hear their feedback.. Check out video !

Jeff Taylor

So here's a few more shots of that beautiful alaia.   Even though the original winterstick factory has been closed for years, Jeff said, he still meets up with founder/snowboard creator Demitrije Milovich for surf trips to Mexico.  Classic.  I rode this alaia once at a rocky cove with no leash,  talk about stressful! ...it's a piece of art.  For any New Yorkers out there, be proud, demitrije milovich grew up in NY (and so did Burton). Thanks Jeff for sharing those pics.

Couple of the old boards made it into WAX magazine

Couldn't be more stoked, two early attempts of our surf/snow alaias and the new powder snow/surfboard were photo'd for wax magazine. (three boards in the seam) interesting fact is there's a winterstick alaia (prettiest board in picture) made by elite craftsmen Jeff Taylor. Back in Utah, Jeff worked at "the" winterstick factory pressing the real wintersticks from the age of 16 until the factory closed along side the grandfather of snowboarding DM. Thanks to matt, and WAX magazine for getting December involved .. The mag is beautiful. Heres a clip

Grandfather Claus?

Jeremy had to poach a spot that was once snowskater friendly, this year not quite as friendly. Here he is up in Maine dawn patroling on a 132 Boyd hill powder sub, a few weeks back..he had nothing but good stuff to say about his Boyd. Top deck 39" (December)
