Weird File : boot scraper

Two seasons ago our buddy Rich asked for some type of 'on-board' boot scraper...something to get that last layer of icey film off his sneaker soles. This past season I've been r&d'ing a synthetic rubber model (pictured) Works just right, can't tell if it's to dorky tho? (i.e. goon cord). Anyone else want to r&d one? Shoot me an email, I'll stick it in mail. Rich is the dude hanging off the bike in red t-shirt. His pic is from espn website article.

34.5"x9.25" plus 100% hard rock MAPLE

Screened by hand in our shop

..this Norway gem

Was taken by Gaute, his setup is a Boyd 115 and December deck 34.5", Rocker Trucks

... just recently I received a message from Gaute, that I'm sharing because it says alot about the winter he's having in Norway! Here's a clip

"We have enough snow.. Additionally 4 inches last week. =)
> I bought myself a snowmobile yesterday, in fact. And even with its long belt and tall lugs it's struggling in all this powder. I will need to race through the woods to not sink, when pulling timber the next few days. But most of all I need more experience!
> -Gaute".

Love this report, thanks Gaute

They say "FITNESS fades at 45"

...meaning if you don't use it, you start to lose it. Here's my 46 year old brother serving up some carbs.
On Saturday I traveled to met up with him and to skate a resort an hour from his house...even tho steve's ridden a snowskate a few times, he's never ridden at a resort..the day went so well, when we packed up, we decide to travel further into the mountains book a hotel room and ride on Sunday. Sunday was classic blue skies, fresh couple inches and fast lift lines.
On Monday we spoke on the phone, he said he spent the morning researching snowskate sneakers online. Figuring he's stoked!

LIVIN THE DREAM

we received Andrew's (gearbox films) latest snowskate video this week, ...watched it 3x in a row, and then a bunch of times so far. Really awesome stuff. The level of snowskating or the progression of it is amazing. Must be seen to believe! Periodically throughout the video are fun surfing and skateboarding clips which links the three sports cleanly.. Loved it.

Pic. of Andrew from his Facebook page (couldn't resist the subtle plug)
Pic of the disc was shot in France by Eric C.

It's snowing like the bejezzus right now.. Woot

VT coldsmoke strapless

..heres a cool pic Aaron D. sent in from his 2/4 backwoods surf session with Peter B. These two smuggs' locals picked up some real nice powdery conditions hidden in the woods up at the real 'notch'. As Aaron put it "the best conditions are in the woods this year".
Looks super fun
